The Sequel of the Three Little Pigs

A fractured fairytale

As soon as the three little pigs defeated the big bad wolf and threw him into the Sadly Never After prison. The entire Land of stories rejoiced. The pigs were happy to have succeeded in this adventure, especially the third pig as he had saved the day with his sturdy brick house. They also helped the other citizens of the story land build brick houses, so that the wolf cannot blow done their houses.

But their happiness wasn’t going to last for long because the big bad wolf had a trick up his sleeve. He had an evil plan to put into action, once he broke out of the prison. One day when the three little proud pigs were munching on the butter popcorn and watching the NEWS in their comfy pyjamas, they found out that the big bad wolf had escaped from the Sadly Never After prison. The three pigs looked at each other with their mouths wide open. They were not happy at all. That bratty wolf had escaped their clutches and the whole land of stories was in danger again!

The pigs organised a secret meeting with all the characters living in the land of stories. They asked everyone to let them know if they noticed anything suspicious. They suspected that the wolf would be sneaky and annoy the innocent. The wait was awful for the pigs. They went everywhere looking with their detective eyes. Everyone had locked themselves in and went out only when required.

Hastily, a little crow came to the three little distraught pigs with the news. He said " Oh three little pigs! I have come with some important information. I had just stolen a little vada from an old lady's house near the town. Then when I was about to eat it, a great shadow loomed before me! it was the big bad wolf. Oh! three little pigs how scared I was! But, to my astonishment! He did not threaten me! He flattered me with sweet comments! Saying things like, " Oh elegant one! Thou voice so sweet. Do sing for me! Of course, I fell for it! I sang. The vada fell from my mouth and the wolf caught it and cackled! Then he ran away!" The three pigs thanked the crow for the information and took out their world map. Then marked the town on the map with a wolf shaped pin to indicate the wolf had been there. Later they warned everyone to never go to the town and those who live there, must evacuate for their safety.

For about a month, there was no information about the wolf. So, the three little hopeful pigs gave the world the benefit of doubt that the wolf was probably killed by a lion. So everything went back to normal and the world was bustling again! Until, Little red riding hood came up with the shattering details. Turns out, that her poor grandmother was gobbled up by the wolf. It was partly her fault though, because she was the one who led the wolf to her grandmother’s house with her big little mouth while walking in the woods.

The three little pigs went to the forest grounds themselves, to inspect every single inch of it. On the way in, they saw a little boy sitting on the stump of a tree and weeping. When they enquired, they realised the wolf had gobbled up the sheep. Yet again , it was the boy’s fault that nobody came to help when the wolf came to eat the sheep. Partially because he had fooled them a couple of times before. Oh! How notorious this big bad wolf is!

The three little pigs set a trap on the tower that they had rescued Rapunzel from the evil witch. They stalked the tower with a lots meat to entice the wolf. Their plan worked. How the wolf gnawed and gnashed his teeth in fury!! But this time he could not escape, he was trapped for good. Everyone lived happily ever after.
