The Meg! He's back
Blunders of the mad scientists
Epilogue:
The ocean is a vast and unknown world, filled with darkness and mystery. But what lurks beneath the surface is something that no one wants to encounter. The Megalodon! He was a giant created by the Shark Dynasty. He killed mercilessly and roamed the gloomy depths of the sea. Soon enough, nature decided..enough was enough! The Megalodon’s population died down and all were safe, Or it was what they had perceived… Based on the story, a couple of mad scientists worked silently against the others and created a replica of the Megalodon aka MEG using the samples from their bones. It is believed that the replica of the Megalodon is dangerous and could pose a threat to anyone who encounters it.
Chapter 1
Feeling low or in need of getting rid of somebody stuck to you like a leech? Then the perfect place to retire is the beach! Whoops! Sorry for the accidental rhyme!
Back to the topic. The beach is a popular place to be off to in the summer. It cools us down and most of us go there during our summer break. But nobody knows that millennials ago the beach wasn’t the safest and calmest place to go to. There used to live the Megalodon. A giant shark wasn’t something we would refer to as kind and pleasant.
But soon it was believed to have become extinct and everyone forgot about it. Scientists thoroughly checked and scanned the seas and oceans. There seemed to be no traces of the Megalodon.
Many were happy but not all. A couple of scientists were not happy at all. Those sad scientists worked silently against the others and created a replica of the Megalodon aka MEG using the samples from their bones! It is dangerous you may say but haven’t you read of mad scientists in books? Well, these scientists were mad and decided to go against the rules and create a Megalodon for testing, aka releasing it into the wild to create a ruckus.
Chapter 2
Today being a school holiday, many people chose to chill by the beach. The beach was packed. The evil scientists thought that it was a perfect time to launch the MEG into the sea. If you are wondering why they wanted to launch it when there were so many people by the beach, there is a very silly reason for it. They thought the MEG would sense or should I say smell the people and animals on the beach, they would move towards the human. Then the humans would see the MEG coming towards them and get freaked out. What a wonderful prank it would be, they thought mischievously.
Chapter 3
Children were engrossed in making sand castles and playing by the sea on the silky soft sandy beach. A loud whooshing sound caught everyone's attention, as something fell from the sky and plunged into the water with a huge splash. It was as if an invisible giant had just thrown a massive object into the sea. A giant tidal wave was created and people started to panic. They thought it was a tsunami. But soon enough, they saw a fin emerging from the sea towards the beach. It was not a dolphin or a shark. It was the MEG! People realised that the Megalodon had returned and it was hungry. The replica was not as harmless as the scientists thought it would be. It was attacking anything that moved, be it humans or animals. Chaos ensued as people started running towards the shore, trying to save themselves from the giant predator. The MEG had turned out to be a nightmare for everyone.
Chapter 4
People called for help as the MEG wreaked havoc on the beach. Lifeguards rushed to the scene, trying to rescue those who were stranded in the water. The coast guards were also called in to deal with the critical situation. They tried to lure the MEG away from the beach by using bait and loud noises. However, MEG was STRONGER and SMARTER for the mad scientists to handle. It continued to attack anything that moved and caused destruction in its wake. The mad scientists had truly created a horror! Soon they would be punished for sure. As they had created this horror, so they went into hiding.
Chapter 5
People were clueless about what to do next. They had never encountered such a dangerous predator before. The situation was getting out of control and the MEG was getting more aggressive with every passing moment. The airforce were trying to shoot down the MEG but the materials used by the mad scientists was highly durable and did no harm to the MEG. The lifeguards and coast guard were doing everything they could to protect the people, but it seemed like their efforts were in vain. It seemed like there was no way out of this mess. Authorities were tracking down these mad scientists who had now gone into hiding. They were going to be in so much trouble. People were freaking out as the MEG started to get more ruthless. It was attacking everything that moved and destroying anything in its wake. The situation was getting out of hand and people were scared for their lives. The situation seemed hopeless and people felt like there was no way out. Even technology seemed useless in the face of such a fierce predator. Everyone was scared and unsure of what to do next.
Chapter 6
Well, that was until a girl prodigy arrived on the scene. She was only 10 years old, but she had a big problem. She needed help, but no one was taking her seriously. Despite her young age, she was a genius in marine biology and had a plan to stop the MEG. But the problem was, that her plan was too bizarre and crazy for anyone to believe. She wanted to use a giant rubber duck to lure the MEG away from the beach. Yes, you heard that right, a giant rubber duck! People couldn't help but laugh at her silly idea. But little did they know, her plan was foolproof. She had studied the Megalodon's behaviour and knew that it had a weakness for rubber ducks. So, she convinced the authorities to give her a chance to execute her plan. The rubber duck was placed in the water and soon enough, the Megalodon started to swim towards it. The girl prodigy had done it! The MEG was lured away from the beach and everyone was safe once again.
From the author’s desk
The Meg was gone, once again. But this time, people didn't forget about it. They remembered the horror and the chaos that it had caused. And they couldn't help but laugh at the memory of the giant rubber duck that had saved them all. Who knew that a silly idea could save the day?
