One of the seeds got burnt in the campfire that people made on a cold night. Another seed was eaten by a bird. One of them landed on hot sand in the desert. I was the only one left.
I landed on a garden owned by a shopkeeper. Nobody noticed me since I was very small. A gardener was tidying the sand and stamped on me and pushed me into the soil. Then I started growing. I got the roots and then out popped the shoot. I grew and grew till I was about 2 inches.
One day the shopkeeper's little girl had come to sit in the garden. When she saw me, she thought she can sit beside me. Then she plucked me from the ground and put me on a pot to see me grow. I grew and grew by making my own glucose with light from the sun, water from the soil and carbon Dioxide from the air. Now I am 4 inch. I get a bud. The little girl admired my bud. Soon my bud bloomed into pretty purple flower. The little girl took a photo and stuck it in her science book. And showed it to her teacher. I grew and grew until I reached 10 inch.
I am indeed a very lucky seed!
