Lulu came back from the mall,
With a big shopping haul.
A cute little pink bag,
And a pink frock with a shining tag.
Too late, I realised it was all for school,
Which I didn’t find very cool.
I sulked in the hall,
With my new chewy ball from her shopping haul.
Next day, she gave me an excited cuddle,
But I was in a muddle.
Because, we would do everything together.
I felt alone altogether.
Vroom Vroom, I hear a sound,
I see something round.
It was coming towards a meek little me,
My head became cloudy and I couldn’t see.
As it came towards me it started circling me,
I felt dizzy and I began to flee.
I bounded around the whole house,
Then I slipped on Lulu’s blouse.
I landed with a plop on the round little thing,
It went around the whole house and I felt like a king!
Then an idea struck me,
This thingamabob could be a playmate for me.
Now I have someone to play with, when Lulu isn’t around!
