When my father was in school, he had holidays for one month. He would go to his grandparents place to spend time with them. In his maternal grandparent’s house he has 6 cousins. They enjoy the scrumptious porikadalai oorandai and chappati which were prepared for them by his grandmother. They would go to the beach and have some summer classes. After the 15 days in his maternal grandparent’s house they go to his paternal grandparent’s house for the next 15 days. Here he has 13 cousins. They usually watch a movie once a week and sometimes watch half the movie and next week watch the other half. The people who work there would block a row for my father and his cousins and won’t ask for tickets because it is their theatre. My father’s grandfather’s father (my great great grandfather) built that theatre. Holidays go by very quickly and they need to get back home for school after a fun holiday!!
