Long time ago, it was in the season of Monsoon in the forests of India. A little tiger wanted to be the king of all animals. He also wanted to be the mightiest. The tiger went to meet a Sage and asked him to grant his wish. The sage asked the tiger for his sharp teeth and his mighty roar in return for the boon. When the tiger agreed to it and as the sage was granting the boon for him there was a sudden loud thunder and the boon was jinxed. The tiger lost his sharp teeth and the mighty roar, and his wish got jinxed as well because of the thunder. The tiger was ashamed to get back to his den without his sharp teeth and mighty roar. He was wandering in the forest and went to the water hole to drink some water. When he saw his reflection in the water, he was more shocked to see a timid small animal instead of himself and when he tried to roar he only heard a meow. So he went to the nearby small village and came to be loved by all as a cuddly cat. Though the tiger lost his mighty powers in greed of being the mightiest , he became a cat and is still loved by all and this is the reason why the cats hate water too.. remember how his boon got jinxed cause of the rain and thunder!!!
