Foxy's visit to the vet

Once, there lived a fox named Foxy in the deep forests. On a summer morning, Foxy ate a purple grape that looked very tempting. he popped a couple of them in his mouth. His face became crinkled, as it tasted very sour. He decided to drink some water from a river nearby and take a good nap in his den. That’s when Foxy fell sick.

He could not get out of his den to eat some food nor drink some water. Foxy was sick for many days. Since he was not getting better, he decided to visit his friend Giraffe, who was a vet.

When he reached the Happy Smile forest hospital, he told the vet he was feeling very sick. The vet asked him what happened. Foxy said he was feeling very sick after eating a very sour purple grape. The vet asked him what he drank after eating the sour grape. Foxy replied that he drank some water from a river nearby. Then the vet checked his temperature. The vet said that Foxy had fever. Foxy was sad. The vet prescribed him a medicine called Fox fever pill. He told Foxy to have one pill each day after his breakfast. Everyday Foxy ate one pill, as adviced by the vet. There were ten pills in total. For ten day, Foxy ate them without fail. He got better each day. On the tenth day, Foxy felt much better. He did not have fever anymore. Foxy was very happy.

He learnt his lesson, never to eat sour grapes!
