Crab's Surfing Experience

A story poetry

The sea,

It is the one big thing I always see.

People jumping into the ocean,

Some applying lotion.

Surfing is something interesting,

Which I can picture myself failing while trying.

I would love to try,

But I don’t want to get wet.. I want to stay dry.

That was when Bella, the top life guard on the leaderboard

Came out to the sandy beach with her board.

Intrigued, I hopped on to her board,

The board sliced through the waves like a sword.

I felt so small I dared not to crawl,

I feared I would fall.

As Bella paddled out,

I started to pout,

We were deep in the sea..

People on the shore were the size of a pea.

I wanted to go back to the shore..

As if the clouds heard me.. the rain started to pour.

Surprisingly bella didnt go back to shore,

I was sad, I wanted to go back even more.

Then the sea became rough,

Water splashed all over me, like I was dunked into a trough.

I freaked out,

Then I heard a shout!

Quick as lightening, lifeguard Bella

Dashed through the waves to save the poor fella.

I was holding on to my dear life

As the board cut through the waves like a knife.

Bella got to the lad.

I was immensely sad..

Why had I wanted to explore this???

When I had been living happily under the sun’s kiss.

Back to Bella..

She couldn’t wake that poor fella.

Then, I thought of a way to be useful..

I jumped on the lad’s belly and gave a pinch that was quite powerful.

He woke up with a start..

I had played an important part!

Bella gave a happy sigh,

As a reward she gave me a crumb of raspberry pie!
