I am going to tell you about the angler fish that lives there. The angler fish has a huge mouth with inward slanting teeth and a lure on the head to attract curious fishes. The angler fish’s lure is called illicium. The illicium glows like a lamp and attracts the prey into its large mouth.
Another interesting fact is that, only the female angler fish has a lure. The male fish is much smaller , so they cannot hunt for themselves. Instead the male fish bites on to the female fish and becomes a parasite. That is why, I feel angler fish is very unique!
